Dork Knights #21 - Look At Me!

In which The Dimwitted Duo is back to buisness as usual. Except that it isn't, as the duo briefly becomes a trio! Bringing along a special guest, MB and Byrd are treated to something no one would have expected as they sit through a detailed review of a movie so shocking, and so vile, that it may or may not feature C-list comic book characters. From the most legitimately disturbing scene you'll ever hear described from a porno, and the creation of the bizarre continuity, to offense being taken at a cure for all known diseases, Below The Bible Belt's James Lewis - a.k.a Hero, joins The Dork Knights for a special episode that requires the combined effort of three to properly pull off. It starts with a flashback of what?!

THE DORK KNIGHT... HIT A SNAG?!

THE BYRD WONDER... ON THE RAG?!

THE BANEFUL HERO FORCED TO SHAG?!

Tune in to find out!

And don't forget to listen to Below The Bible Belt, featuring Hero and Byrd - now on iTunes! Southern Hospitality, delivered monthly.

BATMONTH Finale - The Hero Gotham Deserves

WARNING: Major Spoilers For The Dark Knight Rises Are Discussed At Length

The Legend Ends. The legend of Batmonth, at least, because The Dork Knights are ready to say goodbye with the seventh and final chapter of the series' installments detailing their own personal history with The Batman! And how do they decide to top off their chronicling of a history spanning over seventy years? With a review of The Dark Knight's latest theatrical outing, and the long-awaited end of Christopher Nolan's trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. Starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy, Rises sets to close out the story started by Begins and Knight. Does Nolan's Batman go out with a bang, or must it's punishment be more severe? The Dork Knights take it upon themselves to decide, because they haven't given their hero enough. Not everything. Not yet.

Finally, we would like to personally extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the Colorado shooting on Friday. We weren't sure of how to properly address it at the time of recording, or if it were even respectful to address it at all, so we hope that at least acknowledging it here is enough. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.

BATMONTH #6 - We Can Bring Gotham Back

Are you ready to begin? If not, too bad! The Dork Knights have reached the penultimate chapter of Batmonth, having withstood the trials of the 40's serials, made peace with the 60's series, relived a nostalgic classic in the form of the Burton films, and even suffered through the lowest points of the Schumacher era. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet, as The Dimwitted Duo finally make it to the climatic first two installments of a soon-to-be trilogy: Christopher Nolan's first foray into the genesis of The Batman and the blockbuster sequel, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. But are these two heralded films really the stuff of legend, or will they leave the two asking themselves 'Why So Serious?'. Plus, discover how Begins inadvertently began The Dork Knights, aswell as the discovery of the movies' Otis, the most unlikely member of The League of Shadows, the most awkward near-casting of the franchise, and who is outed as the true hero of the series. Surprisingly, it's not it's cape and cowled lead.

And tune in for the dramatic finale this Sunday, as The Dork Knights cap off their loveletter to The Dark Knight with a special podcast review of his latest adventure, The Dark Knight Rises!

Holy Downloadables, Batman!
